Wedding Cakes at West Circle Hy-Vee

Hy-Vee is your headquarters for wedding cakes and we want to spotlight the head pastry chef at our West Circle Hy-Vee store. Bryant Meyer has been decorating for almost 7 years, immediately following culinary school at Le Cordon Bleu in the cities.  Bryant dedicates around 2 hours for a standard wedding cake from start to finish. This includes baking the cake, set up of layers (fillings and support), and then icing, stacking and decorating.  Bryant is passionate about his career and especially wedding cake design.  He says, “I would like our customers to know that we are open to anything!  I love the challenge of doing a technique or style that I have not done before.  We have a new store that offers many things Rochester hasn’t seen before.  We can do simple, or extravagant cakes.  And not just cakes either!
