Terra Vegetable Chips- Sweets and Beets

These chips are in the chip/popcorn aisle of the Health Market section. These chips are made from a blend of sweet potatoes and beets and are one of my favorite chips because they are a good source of fiber and are very low in sodium. Pair a serving of these chips with a piece of fruit for a well-balanced snack!

Chickpeatos- Rosemary

These crunchy little guys are found in the snack/protein bar aisle in the Health Market. These baked chickpeas are a great alternative to nuts without adding all the additional fat. They offer 1oz of protein per serving and are loaded with fiber. These can be eaten as a snack, but as a bonus, they can add a boost to salads or soups!

Kashi- Chewy Nut Butter Bars- Chocolate Trail Mix (with coupon for $1 off any one Kashi product)

This bar is a new item to the Health Market. They can be found in the cereal and peanut butter aisle. I was excited about these because they are made with almond butter and whole grains. They also have dried cranberries and almonds for a boost of anti-oxidants.

Little Buddy’s Cinnamon Raisin Nut Butter

This nut butter is also found in the cereal/peanut butter aisle of the Health Market. These little packets are perfect for throwing in your bag when you are on the go. Pair it with rice cakes, apple slices or celery.

Think Thin- Protein and Fiber Hot Oatmeal- Madagascar Vanilla, Almonds, Pecans

I know what you are thinking. Oatmeal for a snack?! In fact, these cups of oatmeal can make the perfect mid-afternoon snack when you are looking for something a bit more substantial to give you that boost of energy. This oatmeal is convenient, you can make it right in the container. It also is a great source of fiber and protein-both important to keeping you full longer. They are found in the cereal aisle of the Health Market.

Nature’s Bakery Fig Bar- Raspberry

I like these fig bars for a nice little sweet treat. One package is 2 servings and provide a low fat option for satisfying that sweet tooth. These too are made with whole grains and are very low in sodium. Fig Bars are found in the cookie and cracker aisle of the Health Market.

San Pellegrino- Clementina

These sparkling waters are a nice alternative to soda or fruit juice. While they do contain fruit juice, they are much lower in sugars than regular soda. This flavor is crisp and refreshing, perfect for a hot day! These are sold both individually and in 6 packs in our store- individually up in the cooler case near the express lanes and in 6 packs in the beverage aisle of the Health Market.

Emerald 100 calorie pack- Cocoa Roast Almonds

Finally, the chocolate! I absolutely love these almonds! They are the perfect balance of salty and sweet. These packets are wonderful because they are portion controlled- providing only 100 calories. Pair these with a clementine orange or a handful of grapes for the perfect snack. These are found in aisle 6- the chips and crackers aisle.
