This popcorn is found in the chip aisle of the Health Market section. Popcorn is a whole grain, therefore is high in fiber, making this a very filling snack. Another reason I like this snack is that it is lower in sodium. A rule of thumb that I set for myself is to try to stay below 300mg of sodium per serving.
Planters Nut-rition Heart Health Mix
These fun little snack packs are found in aisle 6, the chips and snacks aisle. These are a new product and when I saw them I got so excited! They are a mix of peanuts, almonds, pistachios, pecans and walnuts, all great sources of omega 3 and omega 6 fatty acids.
LaraBar- Cherry Pie
Lara Bars are found in the snack/protein bar aisle of the Health Market. LaraBars are gluten free, dairy free and vegan. Cherry Pie happens to be my favorite flavor. This bar has 4g of fiber, keeping you full longer during the day and it has only 3 ingredients!
Wild Garden Hummus Dip- Traditional
The reason I chose this hummus is because it is made with absolutely no oil, making it a great low fat option for a snack. These handy little packets don’t need to be refrigerated prior to eating, so they are the perfect grab and go option. You can find them in the chip aisle in the Health Market.
Grace’s Best Sunflower Seeds and Rolled Oats Cookies
These delicious little cookies are found in the cracker/cookie aisle in the Health Market. These cookies are great because 5 cookies is only 130 calories! They have a delicious oat and nut flavor making them a perfect little sweet treat.
Orchard Valley Harvest- Cranberry Almond Cashew Trail Mix
When it comes to a quick and easy snack, trail mix is by far my favorite. You get the salty, you get the sweet and you get the energy! This mix has just the right balance of nuts and fruit and is the perfect pick me up for your day. It can be found in the snack/protein bar aisle of the Health Market.
Stretch Island Fruit Leather- Strawberry
My favorite thing about this fruit snack is that it is made with fruit puree and has no added sugars. Each piece has ¼ cup of fruit. Paired with a light Greek yogurt, this is the perfect mid-day snack. These fruit strips can be found in the snack/protein bar aisle in the Health Market.
C2O Pure Coconut Water
I included coconut water in this box because my clients are always looking for a replacement for soda. This beverage is not fizzy but is the perfect thing for re-hydration following a work out or to give you an energy boost during the day. It is naturally high in potassium, an essential electrolyte for hydration. This drink is found in the beverage aisle in the Health Market.
Justin’s Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups
Now what would a snack box be without something indulgent? While this may not be the healthiest item in the box, it is just fine to have a special sweet treat now and again. These peanut butter cups are made with organic peanut butter and organic, fair-trade chocolate. These are found in the snack/protein bar aisle in the Health Market.
